    HEALTH & DENTAL INSURANCE SERVICES

    INSURANCE BROKERS IN MISSISSAUGA, ON

An extended health insurance for Canadians is designed as a supplementary medical plan to fill the gaps your provincial medical care policy does not cover. In order to apply for such coverage your provincial medical insurance must be currently active.

Unfortunately, not every Canadian is covered by their employer’s health plan. So, many of us and our family members are vulnerable to health care expenses that are not covered by the provincial medical insurance plan. Such costs include dentist’s visits, prescription drugs as well as other personal health care expenses associated with a certain condition that is not covered by the province. Consequently, it leads to a huge medical bill, which, hopefully, can be avoided with an extended Canadian health insurance supplement.

Canadian Insurance companies that we are working with offer a great variety of individual Canadian health insurance plans, so you can select the type of benefits and level of coverage that suit you, your family and your budget.

When is the time to take health and dental insurance?

You are retiring: You need coverage to replace your previous group benefits.

You are losing coverage: You need to replace previous coverage.

You’re self-employed or not eligible for group benefits: You need coverage for you and your family.

WHY DO I NEED HEALTH INSURANCE? I'M COVERED THROUGH MY PROVINCIAL HEALTH CARD. ISN'T THAT ENOUGH?

You’re right, as Canadians we enjoy the benefits of our publicly funded health care system. It covers the basics, such as trips to your family doctor or the emergency room, immunizations, and some treatments for mental health disorders.

However, Personal Health & Dental Insurance (Plans) can cover health care costs government health plans don’t. Things such as contacts, dental exams, and massage treatments that help you feel and be your best. And when the unexpected happens, it covers the costs of road and air ambulance, preferred hospital rooms, medical equipment, and more to make sure you get the care you deserve.

CAN I ADD ADDITIONAL COVERAGE OPTIONS AFTER I'VE PURCHASED MY PLAN?

Absolutely. They can be added to your Personal Health & Dental Coverage at any time, no application required. If you’d like to add prescription drug coverage or Hospital Cash, just fill out a Plan Upgrade Form and send it to the company. If you’d like to add dental coverage, just let your Advisor know. He will add it to your plan, no paperwork required.

    DETERMINE YOUR NEEDS

A Financial Advisor is responsible for asking you about the risk factors that will determine your category involved in taking a particular policy. These questions involve your family’s medical history and your health, in addition to your lifestyle habits or that might affect your health in the future. For example, smoking and some dangerous hobby changes your risk category.

    BEING TRUTHFUL

Answer the question with all honesty; if you are not true, this could negatively affect your family’s right to collect on your benefits if the insurance company finds that you lied on your application. Once you’ve been accepted and acknowledged the Health and Dental policy, tell your family members about the insurance policy. It is a way of protecting your family’s financial structure.
